Mary Livingston, 78, formerly of Perry, NY, died peacefully at home with her family on December 26, 2021, in Graham, North Carolina. She was born in Ebenezer, NY, now known as West Seneca, NY, on January 20, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Earl J. White, Sr., and Viola J.J. (Darling ) White, formerly of East Aurora, NY.
Mary was a well-known photographer of Wyoming County, NY. She contributed many photos to the Wyoming County Tourism Guide. She was president of the Canyon Camera Club of Perry, NY, the Batavia Camera Club of Batavia, NY, and worked with the Wyoming County Fair as a photography judge with the annual photo contest and 4-H photography exhibits. Mary also contributed photos to the New York State Tourism Guide, Genesee Country magazine, and numerous other magazines.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George, her son, George, Jr., her eldest daughter, Vicky (Mansfield), and great-grandson, Noah Parker Poteat. Mary is survived by daughters, Becky (Chris Elarde) of New Jersey, and Laura (David) Wells of North Carolina. Mary was blessed with three grandsons: William and Marcus Mansfield, and Branden Wells; two granddaughters: Heather (Matthew Hudson) Wells, and Jocelynne (Todd) Poteat; and one great-granddaughter: Vera Mansfield. Mary is also survived by a brother, Earl J. White, Jr., of Arizona, and a sister, Virginia Eckel of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
