Mary Alice Long, 71, of Burlington died Monday, November 19, 2018. She was a native of Alamance County and retired from the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney N. Long, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Smith and husband Jimmy Smith, Jr.; grandchildren, Jerry Carden, Jimmy Smith, III and Jennifer Mullins; great grandchildren, MacKenzie Carden, Justin Carden and Zackary Mullins; brother, Dewey Carter and sister, Betty Harris
A service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Dave Winstead. The family weill receive friends at the funeral home 12:00 – 2:00 Tuesday before the service.
