Mary Garner Pendergraph

Mrs. Mary Garner Pendergraph 96, of Haw River, NC passed away on July 15, 2024 at her residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late William Garland Garner and Martha May Garner. In her younger years, she and her husband Carl would go hunting and fishing together as they both loved the outdoors. Mary retired from Cone Mills with over 40 years of service and then worked for 25 years with her daughter at Puppy Cuts as she was always willing to help the ones she loved. Mary was a member of Florence Memorial Baptist Church in Mebane. Survivors include her loving daughter, Glenda Pendergraph Bradley; her many loving nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Barry Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Graham Pendergraph; a daughter, Brenda Kay Pendergraph; her sisters, Martha Roach, and Fannie Hatch; her brothers, James Garner, Onza Garner, William A. “Bud” Garner, and William V. “Bo” Garner. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday July 19, 2024, at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Jim Florence officiating. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of the family.
