Mary Ann Shotwell

Mary Ann Shotwell, 78, passed away on January 31, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mollie Bowes Day.  She was married on September 8, 1962 to the late George Wade Shotwell.

Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Belton (Richie), Vickie Stanfield (Sam); siblings, Frances Thompson, Jerry Day, Edith Hatcher and Clara Duncan; grandchildren Dillon Stanfield (Megan), Dalton Stanfield (McKinley), Luke Belton and Wyatt Belton; great grand daughter Bridget Claire Stanfield and a great grandson on the way Wade Bennett Stanfield and a special friend, Geoff Oakley.

Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Harry Lee Day, John Day, Louise Faucette, Rachel Vaughan and Janie Duncan.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 4, 2021 at 2pm in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. Public viewing will be from 12pm-5pm on Wednesday February 3, 2021 at McClure Funeral Service in Graham. Entombment will take place in the Mausoleum at Alamance Memorial Park.       In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice 914 Chapel Hill Rd.
