Mary Frances Small

Mary Frances Webster Small, 85, of Graham passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at her residence. Mary was born in Alamance County. She was a retired textile employee. Mary was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church and a member of the Mountain View Ruritan Club. She loved knitting, crochet and embroidering. She was an avid Western Movie Fan. Mary enjoyed dancing belonging to several dance clubs. The Alamance County Line Dancers, Cactus Squares dance group, Carousel Cloggers. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxillary with the Burlington VFW. Mary was also an original member of the Steele Concrete Ladies Softball team. Sha coach many girls softballs in the Mt. Hermon Community. She is survived by her children, James Worth Small (Sheri) of Randleman. Mary Small Garner (Cliff) of Gibsonville. Janna Small Davis (Ken) of Mebane. Steven Christopher Small (Dewayne Bishop) of Burlington. Grandchildren, Jennifer Strickland (Evan), Jonathan Small, Justin Matthew Davis, Kenna Logan Davis, Hallie Morgan Davis, Bethany Blair Davis, Chastity Gerringer. Great Grandchildren, Noah, Owen, Kai, Jaxton, Mason, Kenley, Maddoxx, Jax, Jovi, She was preceded in death by her husband, James Maddox Small. Sons, James Maddox Small, Jr. and Michael Daune Small. Parents, James Clius Webster and Della Mae Williams Webster. Sisters, Lattie Mae Shults and Edith Elizabeth Isley. Brother, Lester Auman Webster. His special dog Lucky. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Chaplain Danny Green. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until 2 PM prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence.
