Mary Lou Smith

Mary Lou Spurlock Smith, 82, of Burlington passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Liberty Commons in Burlington. Mary was born in West Virginia to Johnny Spurlock and Hattie Virginia Spurlock both deceased. Mary was retired from Wal-Mart. Mary is survived by her son, Frederick John Smith. Daughter, Dana Marie Hammond. Several step children.  Two grandchildren. In addition to her parents Mary was also preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Smith, Jr. Second husband, Edward Smith. There will be a graveside service held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane. Officiating will be Pastor Darrell Moser.
