Mary Eloise (Taylor) Quakenbush

Mrs. Mary Eloise Taylor Quakenbush, 96, of Graham, passed away at the Hospice Home of Alamance County, on Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Will and Elsie Waldrop Taylor. Mrs. Quakenbush is survived by daughters, Joyce James of the home, her loving caregiver, Kay Rackley and her husband Lacy Huffman, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward E. Quakenbush Jr., a son Edward E. Quakenbush III, a daughter, Linda K. Flowers, a grandson, Patrick Isley, and six siblings.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday February 24, 2021 at Alamance Memorial Park with the Pastor Darrell Moser officiating. There will be no public visitation. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Home of Burlington at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
