Mary "Meme" Williams Hall

Mrs. Mary Mildred Williams "MeMe" Hall, 69, of Mebane, died December 17, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Hall was born in Horry County, SC on November 23, 1947, the daughter of George Allard Williams and Edna Elnita Fowler Williams. She was an active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Graham, where she taught Sunday School and also kept the nursery. Mrs. Hall loved plants and working her garden. She was a member of the Mebane Lions Club while the club was active. Survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Hall; sons and their spouses, Pete and Kelly Hall of Raleigh, Jason and Karen Hall of Orange County, Andy and April Hall of Graham; three grandchildren, Sydney Hall, Cody Hall, and Adalyn Hall; sisters, Alice Rogers, Blanche Causey, Gail Williams, Polly Martin; and brothers, Howard Williams, Billy Williams and Mike Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Austin Williams. The service to celebrate Mrs. Hall's life will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane, with Pastor Norman F. Fargis, Sr. presiding. Interment will follow in Hebron United Methodist Church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 6 - 8 pm Tuesday at McClure Funeral Home, 1308 S. 3rd St., Mebane, NC 27302. Flowers are appreciated, but the family asks that you plant flowers in your yard to honor Mrs. Hall. Arrangements are under the care of McClure Funeral and Cremation Service of Mebane.
