Mary Wright

Mary Wright, 86, of Burlington, passed away on July 23, 2024 at the AuthoraCare Hospice Home in Burlington.  She was the daughter of the late George "Burton" and Leoni McKinney.  Mary loved to write.  Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Charlene Wright, Marisa Carroll; son, Jonathan Wright; grandchildren, Elizabeth Wyatt, Hannah Ewton, Samuel Carroll, Daniel Wyatt; brothers, Andy McKinney, Alfred McKinney, David McKinney, and a sister, Lena Mae Lowe.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Douglas Wright and a brother Toby McKinney.  A Celebration of Mary's life will be held at 1pm on Monday July 29, 2024 at Beacon Baptist Church in Burlington.
