Michael Arrington

Mr. Michael Anthony Arrington, 59, of Burlington, NC, passed away on Sunday December 11, 2016 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. A native of Chatham County, NC, he was the son of the late William Hassel and Othea Rummage Arrington. He worked with Culp Finishing for numerous years and his joy was his family especially when it came to his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Cook Arrington; daughter, Casey Arrington Gurley and husband Mark; son, William Arrington; grandchildren, Jacob Gurley, Matthew Arrington, Zachary Arrington and Olivia Gurley; sisters, Barbara Arrington, Shirley Arrington and Betty Arrington; brothers, CB Arrington, Dean Arrington and Calvin Arrington; sister in law, Barbara Arrington and special nieces and nephews, Christy, Sean, Bobby, Brian, Jeff and Billy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Arrington and a brother Richard Arrington. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday December 14, 2016 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence of his daughter, Casey Gurley at 411 Willow Ct. Gibsonville, NC.
