Michael Ray Elmore

Michael Ray Elmore, 56, of Chestnut Ridge Church Road, Efland; passed Friday, July 26th, 2024. Michael was born to Henry “Gordan” and Lois Walker (whom he adored), both of whom preceded him in death. Michael was a wonderful Brother, Uncle, and Great Uncle and committed friend to Paul and Gaines. Michael was a loving brother to sister Gloria (Fuzzy) who preceded him in death, to Mick (Susan) and Jason (Debra). Loving uncle to Tina (Michael), Sammy (Melissa) Jordan, Katelyn, and Brooke who preceded him in in death. Great Uncle to Kenley, Kolby, Hunter, and Noah. Michael touched many lives and hearts with his compassion and willingness to help others. His love for all of God’s creatures was evident in his love of dogs and cats. As a dedicated Hairstylist for over 35 years, he was much more than a hairstylist. He was a friend and confidant to all he met. The family will visit with friends at McClure in Mebane on Thursday, August 1st from 5-7. A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm, on August 2nd at Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church. All other times the Family is gathered at the home of Jason and Debra. Instead of flowers donations can be made to Orange County Animal Services in Chapel Hill
