Michael Ham

Michael Duane "Mike" Ham, 61, of Mebane passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mike was born in Alamance County to William Haywood and Annie Sue Bowles Ham both deceased. He was formally employed with Huff Shell Station on Mebane Oaks Rd. He was a graduate of Eastern Alamance High School. He was instrumental in starting the Eastern Alamance High School Alumni Association. Mike was also a diehard UNC fan. He also attended Florence Memorial Baptist Church. Mike is survived by his dog and best friend Odie. Brother in law, Kenneth Crawford; niece, Heather Cole; uncle, Lewis Ham; cousin, Anne Strickland Smith and other extended family. He was preceded in death other than his parents, by a brother, Donnie Ham and a sister, Sheree Lynn Crawford. There will be a celebration of life memorial service Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Rev. Ernie Keck. The family will receive friends following the service.
