Michael Edward Robinson

Michael Robinson, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on August 30, 1949, Michael's life was a testament to his enduring love for his family, his passion for trucks, and his unwavering kindness to those around him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Janice Robinson.  He was a devoted father to his sons, Ryan Robinson and Michael Robinson Jr.; his daughter, Brandy Robinson; and his stepdaughter, Stephanie Drewery, and her husband, Tim. Michael's joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Cage Burdette and Augustus Burdette, and his step-grandchild, Bryce Drewery. He also leaves behind his brother, George H. Robinson. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Robinson and Ruby Michael Robinson; sisters, Grace Barbee, Jo Ann Isley and a brother, James Robinson.

He was a man who found solace in the world of trucks, whether they were 18-wheelers or dump trucks. His expertise was so profound that he could troubleshoot and fix a truck over the phone, a skill that earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Michael's knowledge and passion for his work were matched only by his commitment to the trucking community, where he was a well-known and beloved figure.

Beyond his professional life, Michael was a simple man with a heart of gold. He had a special affinity for his Dobermans, who were his loyal companions and brought him immense joy. His love for his dogs was a reflection of his overall approach to life—full of love, care, and attention to the well-being of others. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at McClure Funeral Service in Graham from 5pm-7pm.  A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham.
