Michele Miller Breeden, 56, of Burlington, passed away on March 17, 2026. Michele was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a true friend to many. She shared 32 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life and very best friend, her husband, Lee, building a life full of love, laughter, and deep companionship. She had a special gift for making people feel cared for and valued. Known for her sweet heart, Michele always had something kind to say to everyone she encountered. Her warmth and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Michele found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved the beach and cherished time spent on the water. She had a passion for singing, adored her grandchildren, and treasured the time she spent with family. One of her most special traditions was her weekly meals with her mother, who was also her best friend. She shared a beautiful friendship with Sue, someone she loved dearly, and she held close the many relationships that filled her life with happiness. Michele will always be remembered for the love she gave so freely and the joy she brought to others. Her husband will forever carry her words in his heart: “Hey Lee, you know I love ya!” She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Janet Bachelor Miller.
Michele is survived by her loving husband, Lee Breeden; her children, Bryon Sims, Jennifer Sims, and Stacy Sims; her step daughter, Alyssa Breeden; her sisters, Cindy Wood and Sandra Eller; her five grandchildren, AJ Bowman, Koen Hathaway, Leah Smith, Michael Denigris, Shyne Denigris; and her father, Stephen Miller.
A service will be held to honor her life on Saturday, March 21, 2026, beginning at 4:00pm at McClure Funeral Home in Graham. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 3:00pm-4:00pm.
