Michelle Fogleman Griggs

Heaven gained an angel Thursday, June 21, 2018. Michelle Fogleman Griggs, 43 gained her angel wings. She was a graduate of Eastern Alamance High School with honors in the top 10 of her class. She was a cheerleader, National Honor Society member, as well as Miss Eastern 1993. She received a Political Science Major from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hilll. She loved her Tarheels. She had a daredevil soul and a passion for riding dirt bikes and Sunday afternoons at the shooting range. She played softball and at the age of eight was one of the first female BMX racers in Burlington, NC. One true thrill-seeker, a spitfire. She was a former project manager with LabCorp of America for 21 years. Her favorite motto she shared with her sister

" Low Maintenance is for Rookies".

She will be remembered as a wife, loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was a proud mother who could turn into Momma Bear if needed.

She is survive by her husband Brandon David Griggs, daughter Maci Channing Griggs, son Reegan Hatley Griggs, parents Judy and Junior Fogleman, sister Julie Fogleman Bruner and her husband Bronner James Allen Jr., nephew Cobi Jacob Fogleman Burner, all from Mebane, North Carolina

A service to celebrate her life will be at 4 PM Wednesday at the Lamb's Chapel in the former Haw River Christian Church sanctuary, by Rev. James L Rosser. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane Tuesday night from 6-8 PM, other times at the residence of her parents Junior and Judy Fogelman.
