Milton "Ray" Langley

Milton “Ray” Langley, 82, of Mebane passed away on April 22, 2023. He was a native of Alamance County, retired from Lucent Technologies, of the presbyterian faith and a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed his visits to the Original Skids on North Church Street.  He is the son of the late Milton Rinzy & Lador Johnson  Langley. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Alice Clark, Mildred Tripp and Richard Langley.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Coutchure Langley of the home; sons, Samuel Langley of Mebane, Kenneth William Langley and wife Ashley of Apex and Ryan Langley and wife Lauren of Graham; stepchildren, Lee Hicks and wife Marsha of Burlington and Ashley Newton of Burlington; 8 Grandchildren; brother, Bobby Langley and wife Rachel of Mebane; sister Helen Lackey of Burlington.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 28, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor David Wood. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 3:00 prior to the service.
