Minnie Aldeen Cates Blackwell

Aldeen Cates Blackwell, 89 of Snow Camp passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at her residence. Aldeen was born in Person County to Charles Dewey and Beulah McCullough Cates both deceased. She was the wife of Jimmie Fox Blackwell, Sr. also deceased. She was a retired Nurse and she was a member of Rock Creek United Methodist Church

Aldeen is survived by sons: Jimmie F. Blackwell, Jr. (Anne) of Burlington and Timothy A. Blackwell of the home. Sisters:  Dorothy C. Durham of Hillsborough, Norma Jean C. Perry of Hillsborough, Linda C. Fuqua (Carl) of Mebane, Josie Cates of Hillsborough, and Sandra C. Brown (Pete) of Hillsborough. Sister in law, Brenda B. Brewer of Texas. Two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Mr. David Fuqua. Burial will follow in Rock Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 noon until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
