Monroe Dellie Williams, 85, a resident of Edgewood Place in Burlington died there on Thursday, October 20, 2016. He was a native of Alamance County and retired as a carpenter. He was precededed in death by his parents, Everett Matthew and Mary Addie Dean Williams; Wife, Moonyeen Thompson Williams; grandson, Brandon Michael Williams and brother, Ralph Williams. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Williams Crawford and husband Jimmy of Burlington; son, Everett Michael “Mike” Williams and wife Diane of Graham; 4 grandsons and 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Anne Williams Carden of Graham; brothers, Oscar Royce Williams of Burlington and Garland “Pee Wee” Williams of Graham. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Rev. Mark Stephens and Chaplain Jeff Knudsen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service, other times at the residence of Mike Williams, 2955 Wormranch Road, Haw River.
