GRAHAM - Mordecai Clarence Baldwin, 63, passed away on May 22, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Durham. He was the son of the late Mordecai Calvin and Edith Ayers Baldwin. He enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke and collecting coins and guns. He was retired from the City of Graham after 21 years and retired from the US Army after 20 years of service. He was a member of Hico Baptist Church and loved his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Herron Baldwin, daughter; Sherry Mae Baldwin, sons; Christopher Lewis Baldwin and Mindy, Mordecai Clarence Baldwin Jr. and Darlene, sister; Teresa Baldwin Alatalo (Ray), grandchildren; Angel Marie Scales, Stacce Lamonte Scales, Eden Jade Baldwin, Kaden Lewis Baldwin,. Raegen Gray Baldwin and many loving brothers and sisters-in-law. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters; Rebecca Mae Baldwin Stidham, Joyce Lee Baldwin Feirrell and his mother and father-in-law Maria Seibert and Sampson Walter Herron. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 5- 7 p.m. at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Snow Camp.
