Morris "Ray" Boggs

Morris "Ray" 'Boggs, 66, of Snow Camp formally of Oak Island, NC, passed away on June 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Alamance County to Clyde Aldeen and Dorothy Greeson Boggs both deceased. Ray was the former owner of Stingrays Bar on Oak Island and Havana Rays Cigar Shop in Southport.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Lyndsey Hughes (Greer); his son, Cheney Boggs; his siblings, Sylvia Boggs Teague (Chris) and Vernon Aldeen Boggs; and his grandlchildren, Rowan Hughes and Harbor Hughes. Nieces and nephews: Alicia, Jonathan, Clay, Jessica and Seth. Great niece and nephew: Natalie and Nathan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Boggs Smith.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Cedarock Park at 11:00 AM.
