Nada Lee Conklin Edge

Nada Lee Conklin Edge, 62, beautiful and beloved, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday September 16, 2015. She was led home by her parents Eugene and Peggy Conklin; sister, Terry Faye Conklin; brother, Mike Eugene Conklin, and her step son, Hudson Dewey Edge II. Nada was raised in Mebane where for many years was the owner and caregiver at Lots and Tots Daycare Center. She is survived by her son, Christopher Barry Lee Edge, of VA Beach; daughter, Candy Lynn Edge, of ND; step son, Robert B. Edge Jr., of UT; step daughters, Bobbie Jean Walker, of Snow Camp, and Carolyn Wolfe, of Burlington, Belinda Journigan, of Burlington; sisters, Gina Rae Barfield, of Snow Camp, Cindy Lynn Conklin, of McLeansville; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday September 19, 2015 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Friday September 18, 2015 at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane, and other times at the residence of the family at 508 South Third Street, Mebane, NC.
