Nadia Kay Nasseri

Nadia Kay Nasseri passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2023, at the age of 36.  Nadia was born in Lawrence, Kansas but grew up in Hillsborough, NC.  She was the youngest of three children and the only girl.

As a little girl Nadia loved to swim.  She and her two brothers along with their mother would spend the long summer days swimming at the pool.  She was defiantly a little sunny bunny.  Nadia’s two favorite movies as a child were The Little Mermaid and The Lion King.  When it was time to start school the morning drop-offs were always and adventure; like many parents can relate Nadia was not a morning person as a child.

As she grew to her middle school years, she played softball and was a very studious student.  Also, at this time Nadia’s personality really developed and those who know her best know she could be very outspoken, outgoing, and social.  She also was caring and loving.

In her teenage years Nadia was not afraid to work.  As all the Nasseri children did, she earned her work ethic at the local Pizza Hut in Hillsborough.

She is survived by her parents Kay Moore Nasseri and Nadir Liaghati Nasseri, her four children Braylon, Jayden, Bella, Lily, brothers Phillip Nasseri (Courtni Nasseri) and Reza Nasseri (Jill Henderson), two nephews Ayden and Leighton, and two nieces Adelynn and Anna.
