Nancy Enroughty

Mrs. Nancy Jones Kerley Enroughty, 68, of Mebane, NC, passed away on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at her residence. A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edward Tate and Daphne Phibbs Jones. She loved to cook for her family and friends as eating with the people she loved meant the most to her. She enjoyed her flower gardens especially when it came to her roses. She was a proud member of Mt. Zion Christian Church in Mebane. She was known for being a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many. Survivors include her husband, John Payton “Pete” Enroughty; son, Mark Kerley and wife Jody; daughters, Paula Kerley Brady and Fiancé Jimmy Stone, Kimberly “Kim” Brooks and husband Robert, Dawn “Boojum” Wilborn and husband Steve, Gail Morrah and husband Ed, Donna E. Gorham and husband Glenn, and Debbie Edmonds and husband Kenny. Her loving grandchildren, Kristen, Ashland, Matthew, Johnathan, Luke, Liz, Mandy, Paula, Laine and Amanda; many loving great grandchildren; sister, Frances Ann O’Brian and husband John; brother, Bryan Jones and wife Sharron and an aunt, Louise Carey. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday February 11, 2018 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the Pastor Rick Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 PM on Saturday February 10, 2018 at the McClure Funeral Home in Mebane and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215 or to the Mt.
