Nathaniel "Sam" Ray Hill

Nathaniel ”Sam” Ray Hill, 79, of Burlington, NC passed away December 04, 2022. Mr. Hill was born January 22, 1943, in Burlington, North Carolina to the late Alvis “Cootie” Graham Hill and Annie “Snooks” Ollie Vaughn Hill Anderson. Nathaniel retired from Glen Raven Mills as a textile supervisor.

In addition to his parents, Nathaniel was preceded in death by, Ollie Anna Grace Hunt, Danny Ray Hunt, James L. Anderson, Beatrice Parrish Hill.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet Ann Hill, his children, Heather Diane Hill (Joseph), Grace “Shelly” Michelle Hill (Herman), Kelly Nicole Hill, and Jason Nathaniel Hill, his siblings, Priscilla “Pat” Brillhart, James “Link” L Anderson Jr. (Cecilia), Ruby Hope Eanes (Rob), Joan Hooper, Vicki Williams, Jerry Hill, and Connie Hill, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Nathaniel Hill will be held at McClure Funeral Home on December 15, 2022 from 1:00PM-3:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s research in his memory.
