Nellie Simpson Goins

BURLINGTON - Nellie Gray Simpson Goins, 85, of Burlington passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at Alamance Health Care Center in Burlington.Nellie was born in Alamance County. She was retired from Vocational Trade of Alamance and was a member of Shamrock Evangelical Methodist Church.She is survived by her son, Rev. Paul Thomas Wrenn and wife Barbara of Clarksville, TN. A sister, Jo Ann Barnwell of Burlington. Four Grandchildren and two great grandchildren.She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis Frank Goins; parents, Paul James "Hard Rock" Simpson and Ruby Maude Braxton Simpson. Brothers, John Simpson, Paul Simpson, Jr., and Glenn Simpson.A graveside service will be Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Alamance Memorial Park. Officiating will be Pastor Randy Hobbs.
