Nettie Lucas Young

BURLINGTON - Nettie Lucas Young, 104, of 323 Baldwin Road, Burlington, NC passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at White Oak Manor. Mrs. Young was born in Randolph Co., NC. and she was a homemaker.She is survived by her daughters, Nancy McCoy and Nancy Jean Gilley, and a son, Robert Young all of Burlington. Six grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Wiley Young, son, Donald Lucas, parents, John and Dicie Presnell Lucas; three sisters and three brothers. A funeral service will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
