Norman Craig Davis, who passed away on April 19, 2026, was a man defined by his craftsmanship, devotion to family, and steady presence in the lives of those who knew him.

Born to the late Samuel Branch Davis and Margaret Pendergraft Davis, Craig carried forward the values of hard work and integrity throughout his life. He was an expert carpenter, known not only for his skill but for the pride he took in every project and the care he put into helping others.

Craig shared 45 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Vanessa “Arlene” Davis. Arlene was an exceptionally devoted caregiver and partner, standing faithfully by Craig’s side through life’s joys and challenges. Their bond was a lasting example of love, commitment, and resilience.

He was a loving father to Kevin Craig Davis and Kiona Mia Davis, and a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Craig will be remembered as a dedicated husband, a caring father, and a man whose hands built not only structures, but a legacy of love and family. His memory will live on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished.
