Norman Elbie Morris

MEBANE - Mr. Norman E. Morris, 86, passed away on Friday October 10, 2014 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nell Morris; daughters, Teresa Long, Terry Tadlock, Norma Reed, Tammy Lunsford, Ginger Garren; sons, Ronnie Morris, Robert Morris; sister, Shirley Thiel; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ivy Morris; son, Ervin Morris; daughter, Kathy Haney; grandson, William Haney Jr.; sisters, DeLois Hall, Lottie Martin, Joybell Thomas; and brother, Ervin Morris. A service will be conducted on Monday October 13, 2014 at 2:00 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mebane with Pastor David Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 Monday prior to the service at the church.
