Norman Lee Womack

Mr. Norman Lee Womack of Graham passed away in the early morning hours on December 17, 2020 at the AuthoraCare Hospice Home in Burlington N.C. following a two month illness. Mr. Womack was a veteran of the United States Army and a retiree of Overnight Transportation Company. He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah Reid Womack and is survived by daughters Sherry Womack of Graham, Tammy Womack of Burlington, son Barry Womack of Whitsett, grandson Jonathan, granddaughters  Kristin (Kenneth), Megan (Dillon), six great-grandchildren, and best friend Delores Henley.

Mr. Womack greatly valued his family and friends. Born and raised in Graham in the home of his maternal grandparents, his many aunts were an integral part of his childhood and adult years. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his little dog Rufus. He was a self-defined comedian, always finding the humor in every situation. He was an avid animal lover, a fan of classic country music, classic westerns, and good food. His passing will leave a great void in the hearts of many.

Due to Covid-19, the family is planning a graveside service at Alamance Memorial Park.
