Ollie "Anna" Grace Hunt

Mrs. Ollie “Anna” Grace Hunt, of Burlington, NC passed away on Saturday August 24, 2019 at

Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. A native of Alamance County, she was born on August 27,

1950 to the late Ollie Annie Vaughn Hill Anderson and James Leonard Anderson Sr., who survives. She was

the wife of the late Danny Ray Hunt who passed away in February 2019. Anna was known to put others before

herself. She had a green thumb and loved looking after plants that covered her porch. In her younger years,

growing up in a military family, she lived in several different states and countries. Her family looked forward to

regular beach trips in the summer and an occasional flight to visit relatives. Anna always supported her

children, serving in their PTA; and she had volunteered with The United Way. In addition to her father, she is

survived by her children, Danny Lee (Laura) Hunt and Ashley LeAnna (David) Cathey; grandchildren:

Emerson, Camryn and Carsyn Hunt, Johnathan and Jared Ball, Daiviya and Daijah Cathey; sisters, Priscilla Ann

Anderson Brillhart and Ruby Hope Anderson (Rob) Eanes; brothers, Nathaniel Sam Ray (Jan) Hill and James

Leonard (Cecilia) Anderson Jr. Anna cherished her extended family, including her many nieces, nephews and

cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday August 30, 2019 at McClure Funeral Home

Chapel in Graham, NC with the Pastor Gary Gates officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to

the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org .
