Opal Scott

Opal Scott, 73, passed away on June 7, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late David Wesley and Lucy Bowman Handy Howell and the wife of the late Lester Scott Sr.

Survivors include her son, Lester L. Scott, Jr. (Cathy Scott), former spouse Jami Brown; sister,     Elvie Howell Stanley from Asheboro, NC; brothers, Wesley Howell and Wayne Howell from Burlington, NC, Glen Howell from Meadows of Dan, Va, Homer Howell from Pinebluff, NC; grandchildren, Lesli Heffner, (Bain) and Jason Scott (Jillian); great grandchildren, Maddi Heffner, Gabe Heffner, Emmy Scott, Bo Heffner, Isley Scott and many nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Delcie Howell Huffman;

brothers, Walter Howell, Luther Howell, Harmon Howell; half brother, Albert Handy; and a half sister, Carrie Handy Johnson.

A private graveside service will be held on Sunday June 14, 2020 at Graham Memorial Park.
