Palma Magalenn Ross

MEBANE - Palma Magalenn Apple Ross, 87, of Mebane died Friday, December 5 at the Hospice Home. She was a native of Rockingham County, a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Mebane. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Winfield and Lillie Matherly Apple and husband, Dr. Perry Glenn Ross; brothers, Philmore and Marvin Apple.She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Carol Newsome of Mebane; son, Steven Perry Ross of Greensboro; Sisters, Eva Mae Dunn of Pleasant Garden, Gladys Chapman and Mable Avery both of Reidsville; brother; Everette Apple of Greensboro, 2 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Eastside Baptist Church by Pastor Chuck Perkins. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 – 2:00 before the service other times at the residence of Glenda Newsome, 309 N. 9th Street, Mebane.
