Patricia Johnson Hodgin

GRAHAM - Patricia Johnson Hodgin passed away Aug. 8, 2013, surrounded by her family, after a long, courageous battle for 21 months.She was the daughter of the late Ralph Johnson and Gaynell Maness Johnson.She attended St. Marks Church and was an active member of her community. Pat lived a vivacious life. She loved her family, Disney World, the beach, dancing and all of her friends.Survivors include daughters, Yvette Ross (David) of Burlington and Jessie Hill (Avery) of Graham; brother, Ralph Johnson Jr.; sisters, Alice Franklin, Sylvia Blankenship, Janice Tissot and Holly Diorio; grandchildren, Tyler Ross, Trevor Ross, Tara Ross and Austin Hill.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Hugh Johnson.A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 at 5 p.m. in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham, officiated by the Rev. Dave Gilbert. The family will receive friends from 4 until 5 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
