Patricia Ann Mann Horner, affectionately known as Pat and Nanny to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, in her birthplace of Alamance Co., North Carolina. Born on May 29, 1945, to Charlie Andrew Mann and Ruby Moore Mann, Pat's life was a testament to the love and care she so generously gave to others. Pat's legacy is carried on through her devoted daughters, Teressa H. Reavis, Cathy H. Jordan and her husband Jay, and Rhonda H. Davis and her husband Keith. She was a cherished grandmother to Christy D. Robertson and her husband Jay, Michelle L. Mumford and her husband Daniel, Angela Reavis, Cale Jordan and his wife Marlo, Jake Jordan and his wife Megan, Lauren Carter and her husband Colin, Dillon Davis, Dustin Davis, and Kaitlyn Davis. Her twelve loving great-grandchildren will miss her deeply. Pat is also survived by her sister, Pamela Van Zandt, and her brother, Cecil Mann, along with several loving nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness. Pat was preceded in death and reunited with her loving husband, Odell Anderson Horner, her parents, her great grandchild Ember Paige Jordan, her brother David Mann, sister-in-law Janice Mann, and brother-in-law John Van Zandt. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace. Throughout her life, Pat was the heart of her home, embodying the true spirit of a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Pat's unwavering dedication to her family and friends was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a caregiver in the purest sense, always there for others in their time of need, offering a place to stay, a meal, or a comforting embrace. Pat's interests reflected her love for family and her deep faith. She and her late husband Odell created countless cherished memories, taking the family to the beach or the lake every weekend and the annual family 4th of July beach trips every year, ensuring that family always came first. Her Sunday dinners were always full of love and fellowship for everyone. Her love for the Lord was unshakeable, and she lived her life with God at the forefront, guiding her actions and her generous spirit. The community will remember Pat as a beacon of love and selflessness. Her home was a sanctuary for many, a place where love and care were abundant. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Tuesday January 13, 2026 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Stephen Hall officiating. Entombment will follow in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
