Patricia Ann King

Patricia Ann Woodard King, 79, of Burlington, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Graham and Mary Alice Woodard. Patricia was a loving, kind, and God-fearing woman whose beautiful soul touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel like family, often taking on the role of a mother to anyone she could. A devoted wife, Patricia cherished her family above all else. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She will be remembered for her selfless heart, her steadfast faith in the Lord, and the countless lives she touched through her generosity and unconditional love.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Leigh.

She is survived by her husband, Harold “Doug” Douglas King; her children, Laura Champion (Michael), Darlene Fulks (Robert), Jennifer Daniels (Jack), Jessica Garrison, Michael Sullivan (Carrie), Jeffrey Spears, Alice Sullivan King, and Jason King; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

A service will be held to honor her life on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Ossipee Baptist Church beginning at 11:30am, with Pastor Bruce Brown officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:30am. Burial will follow the service at Haw River Cemetery.
