Patricia Colburn "Pat" Fleischer

Patricia Colburn “Pat” Fleischer, 82, formerly of Mebane, died Sunday night October 23, 2016 at Brookdale Senior Living in Burlington. Mrs. Fleischer was born April 28, 1934 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of Warren Edgar Colburn and Stella Martha Scibek Colburn. She was an accountant by profession, and also worked with her family business Fleischer Industrial Controls. Mrs. Fleischer is survived by her son and daughter in law, Warren C. and Tammy Fleischer; a sister, Esther Schrumpf, of Connecticut; grandchildren Wayne Fleischer and Wendy Matherly; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Matherly, Chad Matherly, Wade Fleischer and Kaydance Oakes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin Charles Fleischer, and also by a sister. The service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Pat Fleischer will be held at 2 O’clock Thursday afternoon, October 27 in the chapel of McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Mebane. Interment will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
