Patricia Wall

Patricia (Pat) Ann Wall passed away on January 5, 2018, in Chapel Hill, NC. Born on July 15, 1934, in Montgomery County, Virginia, she was the oldest child of James D. Wall and Pattie G. Wall of Alamance County, NC. Pat graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and went on to receive a BA degree in Sociology from Women’s College at UNC-G, and she later completed courses in Library Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. After working in the public library in Danville, VA, Pat returned to Chapel Hill to become a law librarian at the UNC School of Law. After her retirement, Pat purchased The Book Market, located in Carr Mill Mall, where she found a vocation she truly enjoyed, sharing her love of books with a community that embraced her. Pat is survived by sisters Janie Wall Freeman and Karen Wall Clond, brothers Jack G. Wall and Joseph E. Wall, and many nieces and nephews. Plans for a spring memorial service are still being finalized. She will be interred at Cross Roads Presbyterian Church in Mebane, NC. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is in charge of arrangements.
