Patsy Isley Allen

Mrs. Patsy Isley Allen, 83, of Graham, NC, passed away on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Alamance/Caswell. A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Wade and Fannie Mae Isley. Patsy worked in textiles for over thirty years, retiring from Burlington Industries. After retirement, she enjoyed her time at K&W cafeteria as a cashier as she loved to interact with her customers. She treasured her beach trips with her husband Delbert whether they went with a group of friends or just the two of them. She loved to garden her flowers and cook for her family and friends. Patsy attended Bethel Baptist Church where she loved her Church family. Survivors include her daughters, Gena Lynne Burke, of Graham and Brenda Clark and husband Chris, of Liberty; her loving grandchildren, Kelly Clark, Heather Clark, Jason Everhart and Robbie Lee Everhart; 5 great grandchildren; her sister, Deborah Isley Edwards and husband Darwin, of Graham; brothers, Johnny Isley and wife Eve, of Charlotte and Joel Isley and wife Erika, of Mebane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Lee Allen; a grandson, Tyler Jackson and her step mother, Frankie Euliss Isley. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 Pm on Friday at Graham Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert Sargent officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:30 prior to the service at McClure Funeral Service in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family.
