Paul Orville Brummett Jr.

MEBANE — Mr. Paul Orville Brummett Jr., 77, passed away Monday, August 11th, 2014 at Hospice Home and Palliative Care Alamance-Caswell. Paul was retired from Duke University as the Director of Material Support. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all. He was a positive influence as well as an inspiration to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Karel Cooper Brummett; sons, Jeffrey Paul Brummett and Kirk Alan Brummett & wife Tamera; granddaughters, Logan Brummett, Denise Smith, and Josie Mayclin; great-granddaughter, Jaelynn Mayclin; sister, Anita Norris & husband Joe; mother-in-law, Denise Simon; brother-in-law, Michael Cooper; nieces, Kathy & Kristy; and nephew, Jerry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Orville Brummett Sr. and Althea Baugher Brummett. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, August 15th, at 3:00 at McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane with Pastor Gray S. Clark officiating.
