Paul "Tim" Timothy Herbin

Mr. Paul "Tim" Herbin, 72, of Mebane, left us to be with our Lord on June 18, 2023. He served in the US Navy and built a career in the automotive industry. Tim was a valuable member of the Boy Scouts in Greensboro, NC and First Baptist Church in Mebane, NC. Tim placed family first and was known to most as “Pops”. This makes it most fitting that he went to his Heavenly Father on Father’s Day. He was the son of the late G. Ray and Vivian Herbin of Nags Head, NC, and preceded in death by his brother Scott Herbin. Tim leaves behind his loving wife Amy, his brother Kevin Herbin, children Casey (Naomi) Herbin, Brad (Shiloh) Mabe, and Michelle (Tavares) Carter. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Aidan, Destiny, A.J., Geronimo, Isaac, Tamia, Rylee, Kaden, Micah, Keegan, and his great grandson J’cieon. Tim, “Pops”, will be deeply missed and always loved. Celebration of Life service will be held at First Baptist Church - 301 S Third St, Mebane, North Carolina 27302 beginning at 3:00pm on Saturday, July 1, 2023.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund at http://www.fbcmebane.com/give
