Paula "Tinker" Allums

Paula Jo “Tinker” Allums, 63, was born April 13, 1954 to the late James Patrick Byrne and Pauline “Sis” Craft. She passed away peacefully in the loving arms of family and friends on June 24, 2017. Tinker will be greatly missed by all. She was employed with UNC Home Health in Chapel Hill. She was a dedicated, loyal employee that considers many co-workers as family. Tinker was an active member of the Eli Whitney Auxiliary and Ruritans. She enjoyed crafting, shopping, baking, spending time with family, friends and her animals, and her great desire to help all those in need. She is survived by her granddaughters; Shiann Harvey and Shaylee Evans, daughters; Tabitha McDole and Keelia Harvey, sister; Tonya “Porky” Julian and anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great grandson, Nolan Scott Daly. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life Scott “Bubba” Allums. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday July 2, 2017 at Cedar Cliff United Methodist Church.
