Peggy Wright (Allen) Harden

Peggy J Harden, 80, of Haw River, NC, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2019, at the Elizabeth Hospice House surrounded by her children.

She was born September 7, 1938, in Mebane, NC, proceeded in death by her parents, Simon and Mildred Allen; her brother, Bobby C. Allen; and husbands Joseph “Buck” Womble, Jerry Wright Sr., and James “John” Harden.  Surviving children are Betty (David) Aldridge, Jerry (Jennifer) Wright, Randall (Debbie) Wright, and Robert (Marianna) Wright.  Surviving grandchildren are Brooke (Marcus- fiancé) Aldridge, Simon and Amelia Wright, John Wright and Cliff Phillips, Arianna Wright and Jamie Kimrey, cousins and nieces; sister in law, Ann Allen.

She graduated from Burlington Business College and retired from Alamance Community College.

She was a member of Lamb’s Chapel, Haw River, NC.  She loved her family, her church and anyone that she came in contact with.  However, most of all, she loved the Lord with all of her heart.  Heaven gained another saint!

A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in Haw River Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour prior to the service.
