Peggy Sue (Fields) Clark

Mrs. Peggy Sue Fields Clark, 56, of Mebane, NC passed away on June 22, 2024, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. A native of Onondaga Co. NY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Fields Sr. and Donna Dye Fields. Peggy was an extraordinary woman with a beautiful soul who loved everyone, especially her family. Peggy was always staying busy, whether she was cleaning the house, watching lifetime movies, listening to music, and writing letters to family and friends. One of her biggest joys was doing for others, as she would make photo albums of special occasions for her family so that their memories could last forever. Peggy could make you laugh and cry in the same sentence but she will forever be remembered for her big heart and her selflessness for always putting the needs of others above her own. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Survivors include her loving husband, Paul Andrew Clark Sr.: her boys, Paul Andrew Clark Jr., Jesse Clark Sr., Kenny Clark, and Joshua Clark; her grandchildren, Samantha Clark, Lily Clark, Natalie Clark, Jesse Clark Jr., and Donald Yizar III; her sisters, Mary Bumpus and husband Justin, Gloria Fairbairn and husband Randy, and Judy Schriver and husband Jan; her brothers, Charlie Fields Jr. and wife Linda, Jeffrey Fields and wife, Jackie, Marty Fields and wife Anne Marie, and Daniel Fields; and many loving nieces, nephews and other family members. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date back home in New York. McClure Funeral Service in Mebane is assisting the family.
