Peggy Tillotson Holt

Mrs. Peggy Tillotson Holt, 79 of Burlington, NC passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2019 at ARMC. A native of Granville Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Greene and Allene Newby Tillotson. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many. Her family was her pride and joy especially when it came to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Peggy was known for her caring and loving heart, as she always put others above herself and she enjoyed spending time on her computer. Survivors include her husband, Danny Milton Holt; daughters, Peggy Justice and husband M. Lynn, Tina Edwards and Tammy Cliborne; her son, Fred Michael Clapp; grandchildren, N. Lynn and Carrie Justice, Larry Edwards, Casey Clapp, Shanti Cliborne, Ciera Vasquez, and Angel Torain; her loving 19 great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Tingen and Reba Dixon and her loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Debra Lynn Clapp and Larry R. Clapp and her sisters, Nancy Brame and Linda Crawford. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday January 11, 2020 at Bellemont United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:30 prior to the service on Saturday January 11, 2020 at McClure Funeral Service in Graham and other times at the residence of the family.
