Peggy Effie Jean Boone Little

Mrs. Peggy Effie Jean Boone Little went to be home with her Lord on Oct. 17, 2013. She was born Oct. 30 1931 to the late Robert Franklin and Pauline Allen Boone. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Shirley Little; brothers, Boyd Allen, Garland Boone, Wade Hamilton and Junior Boone. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.Surviving her are one sister, Dorothy Cochran; two daughters, Sylvia Little, Cathy Smith and husband Rick Smith; sons, Roger Little and wife Debbie Little and Jimmy Little and wife Terri Little; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one aunt.The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 5 until 7 p.m. and at other times at the home of Cathy and Rick Smith, 3292 Thomas Arlendo Drive, Burlington, N.C.A funeral service will held 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Bethel Baptist Church, 238 Dixon Road, Graham, N.C. with the pastor, the Rev. David Jackson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery, Graham, N.C.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Hospice Home and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
