Peggy Ann Tippett

ELON - Peggy Ann Tippett, 66, of 3437 Shepherd Road Lot 60, Elon, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014. She was a native of Alamance County, retired from Springwood Textiles and a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Henry and Opal Paylor Shockley, a brother and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Allen A. Tippett; children, JoEllen Freeze, Patricia Johnson, Rhonda Freeze and Debbie Tippett; 12 grandchildren and a sister, Ellen Self. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Alamance Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. J.W. Melvin. .
