Peggy Ann (Westbrook) Scott

Peggy Ann Westbrook Scott, 87, of Mebane passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at her residence. Peggy was born in Alamance County to Aaron Westbrook and Lucille Christopher Westbrook both deceased. Peggy was the wife of Jesse Thomas Scott also deceased. Peggy retired from McDonalds after 20 years of service. She was also a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.

Peggy is survived by her Sons, Jesse Scott (Diane) and Timothy Lynn Scott. Grandchildren, Sean Scott and Christy Scott. Great Grandchildren, Tyneshia Blackman, Saquan Blackman, Cristy Scott, and Destiney Scott. Brother, Richard Westbrook.

In addition to her husband and parents Peggy was also preceded in death by her son, Steve Scott and a daughter, Teresa Faulkner.

A memorial service for Peggy will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Angie King. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
