Peggy Phillips Zachary

Peggy Phillips Zachary, 82, passed away on January 2, 2023 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Marion and Mabel Phillips.  Before retirement she worked for UNC Hospital.  Left to cherish her memory are her son, Alfred Timothy Zachary and his wife Mari; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Gray Zachary; daughters, Angie Zachary Brown and Debbie Zachary Cook; brother, Melvin Phillips and her sister Irene Whitfield.  A memorial service will be held for Peggy at a later date.
