Penny Cook Whaley

Penny Marie Cook Whaley passed away February 28, 2015. She is survived by her husband Michael Chad Whaley, her children Stormie Jones & Chad Robbins, Shayne and Wayne Jones, Zane Phillips and Truitt Whaley, granddaughters Julie, Autumn and Carliegh, her parents, Judi and Larry Cook, her siblings Laurie & Nick Majdanski, Tina & Rob Agnello, Cristyle & Zack Chockley and 3 nieces and 3 nephews. She was a member of the Peoples Church in Mebane. She was very outgoing, never met a stranger in her life. She was friends with everyone. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and she absolutely loved dolphins and the beach. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7th, 11:00AM at People's Church in Mebane, 303 W. Crawford St, Mebane, NC 27302 Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in a circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night.
