Ralph Copple

MEBANE - Mr. Ralph Copple, 88, of Mebane went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 18, 2018 at his residence He was the son of the late Charlie and Mittie Copple. He served in the US Army and was employed with JC Harris Lumber Company. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a loving husband, father and Paw Paw. He is survived by his wife Charlotte with whom he would've celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on August 26th. Daughter; Cathy Gardner (Lance) of Graham, sisters; Lou and Annie, grandchildren; Michael (Julie) and Heather (Greg), great-grandchildren; Alexa, Madyson, Bailey, Landon, Jaxon, Ty and Zack, great-great-grandchildren; Mclaren, Kaelyn and Eastyn. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Ray, Warren and Edmond, sisters; Eula, Faye and Jean. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church by Pastor Randy Hobbs and Rev. Aubrey Florence. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park with Military Honors. The family wanted to give special thanks to his loving friends, Bill and Deneece Hodge, Raleigh and Pat Simpson and his Army buddies, Jack Estes and Braxton Bowden.
